Soil Excavation, Characterization and Disposal Services   Location: Various Sites         Value: $ 350,000.00     Panther was contracted to perform a variety of environmental services throughout the Tri-State area including excavating, staging, analyzing, transporting and disposing of petroleum contaminated soils on an emergency basis. The services were scheduled on an expedited basis, which required mobilization within a day and shipments within a week of the excavation process. Panther performed pre-demolition cleanouts and lab packs of waste materials of environmental concern, in addition to mobilizing all necessary OSHA certified personnel and equipment to remove known UST's and contaminated soils. The project required operators, technicians, excavators, and photo ionization detectors, among other support equipment. All work was completed in level C or D personal protection, depending upon air monitoring results. The contaminated soil was transported and then recycled via thermal desorption to eliminate future liability associated with the waste.
