PermeOx® Plus is a calcium peroxide-based product manufactured by FMC Corporation, the leader in solid peroxygen chemistry. This product was specifically designed to release sufficient oxygen over an extended time period to enhance the biodegradation of petroleum hydrocarbons and other biodegradable contaminants in soil and groundwater. The key benefits of PermeOx® Plus are its unmatched oxygen content (18%) and the slow rate of release, designed to meet the oxygen consumption requirements of contaminant degrading microbes. PermeOx® Plus is typically 60% more cost-effective than competing magnesium peroxide (MgO2) products.
