Panther provided personnel and equipment for the procurement of 1,060 gallons of emulsified vegetable oil product EOS B42 and mixing and injection of 23,000 gallons of dilute EOS B42 bioremediation solution into pre-existing injection wells. The injections were designed by the client to remediate chlorinated compounds in groundwater and specifically to prevent offsite migration of the contaminants. The EOS B42 injections were followed by the injection of 31,000 gallons of anaerobic chase water to ensure adequate distribution of the amendments in the aquifer. Operations include two 21,000 storage tanks for batching the solutions, one of Pantherís injection trailers, various pumps, compressors, manifold systems and customized well heads. Panther performed all mixing and batching of the materials and completed injections into four (4) injection wells at a time using a manifold system equipped with flow control valves, flow meters and well heads equipped with pressure gauges and pressure relief valves. In each day of operations, Panther prepared batches and injected approximately 6,671 gallons of EOS B42 solution and 9,551 gals of chase water, over a period of 9.5 hours, at a rate of 7 GPM per well. Panther developed a site-specific health and safety plan (HASP) to execute the project, and provided a three (3) man OSHA trained crew. The project was completed on-time, on-budget and accident free.
