Panther was contracted, under the name Philip Services, to surgically excavate and segregate PCB impacted in the soils from between a laboratory and production building located on a Bristol Myers site in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The activities included the select demolition, storm water system diversion, removal of storm water system and excavation under specific excavation plan and staging of the waste. Once completed, the areas were backfilled, compacted and a new storm water system installed.
The activities completed included a site survey, sedimentation and erosion control modifications including installation of a tracking pad, excavation, relocation and staging of the soils. During the course of the project, Panther personnel operated two (2) pieces of equipment including a 45,000 pound excavator equipped with a 36” bucket, bobcat with sweeper attachment and various air monitoring. |
