Key Projects

  • Project Manager for a geosynthetic lining system for a 5.6M gallon leachate storage tank. HDPE geomembrane and other geosynthetics were used to line the reinforced concrete storage tank.
  • Project Manager for a sub-slab vapor mitigation system beneath a 150,000 SF retail store constructed on a brownfield redevelopment site. LiquidBoot geomembrane and other geosynthetics were used to collect and vent vapors to minimize vapor intrusion risks.
  • Project Manager for a shale-gas drilling activities performed for international oil company. Services include site development, water impoundment lining, and construction quality assurance (CQA) monitoring.
  • Project Manager for a voluntary mitigation of a former municipal waste burning facility. 8,000 tons of burn debris (CA hazardous, non-RCRA metals) was excavated and transported offsite for out-of-state disposal. Project required extensive coordination with regulators and receiving waste disposition facility to streamline confirmation sampling and waste profiling routines.
  • Project Manager for a voluntary mitigation of a former municipal waste burning facility. 4,000 tons of burn debris (containing metals, PAHs, dioxins, & furans) was excavated and consolidated onsite in a newly constructed landfill. Project required extensive coordination with property owners and regulators, as the site was subject to prior litigation.
  • Environmental management and consulting services for an industrial client during their redevelopment of a 4-acre brownfield site in downtown San Diego. The site was a former fuel terminal with TPH and VOC impacts to soil and water. Soil to be transported for offsite disposal.
