About Us - Background

Project Experience

Since our inception in 2000, Panther has successfully self-performed over 1,000 major projects for industrial clients and consultants throughout the United States. Our recent experience has incorporated projects involving facility decontamination, plant industrial services, and UST/AST removal and upgrades on tanks exceeding 1 million gallons.

Panther has completed numerous site remediation projects implementing innovative chemical oxidation/reduction technologies, zero-valent iron systems, and enhanced reductive dechlorination programs (among other conventional approaches such as SVE and air sparging); lab packing of over 15,000 containers; site civil services; and demolition of multiple facilities, structures and plants.

Health and Safety Compliance

Panther holds health and safety among our highest values and strives to provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment. A healthy and safe work environment is essential for the success of our business, as well as for our families and communities. We believe that all incidents are preventable through the application of proper training, planning, knowledge, and resources to identify and control safety risk.

Mandatory regular training is a key component to our commitment to safety, and Panther's Health and Safety Training Program begins with the successful completion of a 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations course in accordance with OSHA 29CFR 1910.120 and an annual 8-Hour Hazardous Waste Refresher Training. Panther's training is further augmented by various training elements such as:

  • Confined Space Entry

  • First Aid & CPR
  • Respirator Fit Tests
  • Daily Toolbox Safety Meetings and Site Specific Training which details site hazards and specialized problems and protocols
  • SJ Chemical Manufacturing Safety Access Training

All Panther personnel participate in a medical monitoring program, and all Panther supervisors have completed 8 hours of additional training in the supervision of hazardous material sites.
